2.5. Defining a point in an abstract space





This chapter is devoted to abstract definitions. Abstract definitions are used to create an artificial environment of existence (biosphere, sociosphere, technosphere), this is a way to configure the connection of elements into an organization (technological device, machine). We call such connections between the elements of an organization relationships — between animals, between people, between factories and machines, etc.




The definition of a point in the space of abstract values is the distance AB between two points A and B in units of measurement of the selected abstract property. Since the distance between the points can only be one, then both points have the same definition relative to each other (have the same difference in the expression of the selected abstract property), which is called the difference of abstract values. The definition is usually denoted by some number as the length of a straight line segment AB. The space of abstract values is a numerical straight line (one-dimensional coordinate space), which is drawn through two points and is directed only in one direction, the opposite direction (negative coordinates) is considered the space behind the back and is not in demand in distilled psychology due to the rules of analytical geometry.


There is a quantity of some abstract property between the points. Since the property is abstract (virtually), it cannot be measured with a control and measuring device, but it can be calculated and denoted by a number. The final number will be the difference between the values (positions, coordinate (x) or the length of the segment AB), how much (by what length of the line segment) the two points differ from each other. The observer at the origin always looks only one way from the living being (origin) to the irritant (measured or calculated coordinate (x)), so the irritant is always in the area of positive numbers. If there is no irritant on the line in the area of positive coordinates, then there is none at all, i.e. there is no abstract property less than zero (the values of the incoming point A).


Abstract definitions are what turns psychology into psychology. It is a reflection of the surrounding world as it is not. Abstract definitions include the properties of bodies to be rich, beautiful, dangerous, tasty, disgusting, etc. These properties are not physical, there is no rich heat, delicious meteorites, beautiful elasticity, disgusting body mass or momentum, etc., this is an addition to the already existing physical properties of additional abstract properties. If we are talking about an addition, then this also exposes some intelligence, that made such an addition, as well as some kind of plan, for which such an addition was made. Since the line of abstract properties is directed only in one direction from the origin, there is no irritant, that is less (negatively) rich (beautiful, dangerous, tasty, disgusting, etc.), than I am. In fact, any interaction with the environment is psychology. However, abstract meanings are so fantastic, they do not fit into the physical world so much that this area is considered to be real psychology, which is a mistake.


There is something (B), that has some abstract property (to be rich, beautiful, dangerous, delicious, disgusting, etc.). The coordinate (x) or the length of a straight line segment AB is the value of how much something (B) is richer, more beautiful, more dangerous, tastier, disgusting, etc., than I am (A). I also have a position on an abstract straight line, but my coordinate is always zero, and the abstract property is always defined as a positive value. This means, that something (B) is always bigger, than me (A), by the magnitude (x)


Abstract properties have an expression, this is a quantitative content, indicated by a number (coordinate (x)), how rich, beautiful, dangerous, delicious, disgusting, etc.). The expression is set relative to the origin (relative to what rich, beautiful, dangerous, delicious, disgusting, etc.). In distilled psychology, the living being and its position on the line of the selected abstract property act as the origin of coordinates. The expression of the selected abstract property (the position on the line of the selected abstract property) in a living being is zero according to the rules of analytical geometry. Thus, the subjectivity of a living being, that exists in the world of selected abstract properties of surrounding objects, is set — it (another being, an external object, etc.) is richer, more beautiful, more dangerous, tastier, more disgusting, etc. me by a certain quantity (number, coordinate (x) or length AB), where this value is the difference coordinates (positions, values). The abstract space of values is analogous to the real space of values, where it (another being, an external object, etc.) is harder, softer, warmer, colder, faster, etc. me by a quantity amount (number), and this value is also the difference of coordinates (positions, values), only in the space of real reflections. It may seem, that if there is something beautiful and something disgusting, then disgusting is beautiful in the other direction (negative coordinates), and beautiful is disgusting in the other direction (positive coordinates). But no, beautiful and disgusting are two different lines, where a living being is always an incoming point, and the outgoing one is always in the area of positive numbers. Therefore, beautiful and disgusting is always defined as a positive number relative to a living being, which is the origin of coordinates. This number is not the magnitude of the irritant, it is the difference in values between the irritant and a living being, in psychology only it makes sense. In other words, it is not an objective measure of the beauty or disgust of the irritant, it is a subjective definition of how much more beautiful or disgusting the irritant is than me by a certain quantity. Everything is relative, everything is relative to me (a living being), everything is subjective, therefore a living being has no value of an abstract property without an irritant, i.e. a living being is not beautiful, tasty, dangerous, etc. for itself. We cannot create a straight line segment with only one point.


This is a social dimension, that has nothing to do with psychology. The rules of analytic geometry are violated initially, because this is not the definition of the other through oneself, but the definition of oneself through the other. We remember, that there is some intelligence, that created all living things. These astronauts are not alone in the universe, there are others, their analytical geometry is suspiciously similar to human.


The only exception is some abstract properties for humans, which are not defined by the rules of analytical geometry. In this case, the difference of values is defined not relative to itself, which gives the position of the irritant, but relative to the irritant, which gives its own position.  In psychology, such an origin is called an ideal. It is difficult to say, what psychology has to do with it, but here everything is relative, everything is relative to him (the irritant), everything is subjective, therefore a living being does not have the magnitude of an abstract property without an irritant, because it is impossible to create a straight line segment with only one point. i.e. it is not beautiful, tasty, dangerous, etc. by itself. The position of the origin in this case is not defined, but one's own position is defined, how much a living being is more delicious, beautiful, dangerous, etc. relative to the standard of yummy, beauty, danger, etc. A living being can do social work and become even closer to the standard (become even tastier, more beautiful, more dangerous, etc.), but it can never surpass the standard or even match it, because two points are needed for a straight line segment. And a living being can also define the position of another living being relative to its subjective standard, compare it with its own and calculate the difference in values, which will be a simple difference with a positive (more tasty, beautiful, dangerous, etc. by the magnitude of the difference in values) or negative (less tasty, beautiful, dangerous, etc. by the magnitude of the difference in values) sign, generating a social hierarchy. We've seen it somewhere. We see this constantly since school, this is the same analytical geometry, that we use, which is not in psychology, and which we inherit from those, who created society and the social dimension, because the human mathematical method of calculation can exist before the appearance of man only in one case. For psychology, this is not relevant, but it makes sense to know, how much we are not alone, and how differently the difference in values can be defined.




Geometrically abstract definition is a straight line segment AB in an abstract one-dimensional space. A straight line can be drawn through two points, and only one, and a straight line segment is a straight line bounded by two points, therefore, to form an abstract definition, both points must lie on the same straight line (have the same abstract property). Accordingly, the definition can be formed only one and only through two points (as the distance between them). By itself, a point is always indefinite (it does not form a straight line segment with itself and has no coordinates relative to itself.). This means, that if there is no irritant, then there is no irritation.


This is a standard formation of a mathematical point, where the distance between is the difference of abstract values and the quantity of irritation, how different the points are from each other, the quantity of disequilibrium, inconsistencies, asymmetry, etc. in the one-dimensional space of abstract properties. The irritant has an abstract property, whose value is greater, than mine (zero) by the value AB. The direct line is always directed from the meaning of a living being towards the irritant.


If there is no point on the abstract line, reflecting the value of the irritant, a living being cannot define, how much its allocated abstract quantity of property differs from the allocated abstract quantity of the property of the irritant, because there is no second end of the segment, relative to which it can define its position. For example, if an irritant does not have the abstract property of being beautiful, dangerous, tasty, disgusting, etc., then a living being cannot define, how much more beautiful, dangerous, tasty, disgusting, etc. the irritant is. This is also true in the opposite direction, if a living being does not possess the necessary abstract property (subjectivity), then it is impossible to define, how much the value of the selected abstract property of the irritant differs from the value of the selected abstract property of the living being itself. For example, if a living being does not have the abstract property of being beautiful, dangerous, tasty, disgusting, etc., then it cannot define how much more beautiful, dangerous, tasty, disgusting, etc. an irritant is, than a living being — the origin of coordinates. All subjective definitions are always made relative to themselves as the origin of coordinates according to the rules of analytical geometry.


Mathematically, an abstract definition is the length of a straight line segment, denoted by a number. The latter reflects the position (coordinate) of one point relative to another in the one-dimensional space of abstract values. In distilled psychology, one of the points is placed at the zero position (origin). Accordingly, the definition is possible only through another point, this is its coordinate relative to the point at the zero position. Relative to itself, the point will always be indefinite (zero difference).


The difference of abstract values mathematically practically does not differ from the difference of actual values. This is the distance between the points (mutual definition AB), which is indicated by a number (the coordinate (x) of the outgoing point). In this case, the difference in positions reflects the difference in abstract values (by what quantity the abstract property of the two points differs). For example, how much (by what quantity (x) or AB) is irritant B more beautiful (ugly, more dangerous, more attractive, richer, poorer, smarter, dumber, etc.), than a living being A. Since psychology uses the philosophy of the developers of all living things (who did not use the usual numerical series), the standard method of coordinates does not work for us, both points are defined by one number (have the same coordinate (x) relative to each other), which belongs to both points, and not to any one, as to this we are used to it. Therefore, at the bottom of the usual analytical geometry with the origin of coordinates at the incoming point A.


This means, that a living being cannot define its own quantity of an abstract property, only the difference in quantities (values) between itself and the irritant (for example, the quantity of beauty is the difference in values between the value of the beauty of the irritant and the value of the beauty of a living being, the quantity of danger is the difference in values between the value of danger assigned to the irritant and the value of danger, assigned to a living being, etc., except yummy, which is also abstract, but the developers of all living things, as always, something went wrong). For distilled psychology, an incoming point (a living being) is always placed in the zero position. It makes sense to do this in habitual psychology, since we are talking about abstract (non-existent in reality) properties, that cannot have absolute zero in principle (when an abstract property is not expressed objectively), because an abstract property is fundamentally impossible to express objectively. If desired, such a zero can be entered, in which case a living being will have an internal parameter relative to absolute zero, if the abstract internal value of a living being should be greater than zero. But even in this case, the absolute zero will be fictitious.


The abstract definition has no physical meaning, there is its imitation in the form of the quantity of abstract property and its expression (the quantity of beauty, the quantity of danger, the quantity of yummy, etc., it is an imitation of real phenomena — the quantity of heat, the quantity of distance (extension), the quantity of movement, etc.). This imitation does not exist physically as a phenomenon, but it is imitation of physical phenomena, therefore, for abstract values, everything, that applies to real values, is applicable. An abstract definition is a highlighted part of an abstract property in its expression (quantity). Attracting two points is a method of highlighting a part of an abstract property by cutting off the expression, that is beyond the two points. The latter contain part of the expression of the property within themselves (among themselves), being the boundaries of the highlighted expression of the property. This is also a difference in values (parameters, beauty, yummy, danger, etc.). In the case of straight lines, this is the highlighted part of a straight line, where two points are the boundaries of the highlighted part (the ends of a straight line segment).


Some quantity of abstract property is locked between two points. Beyond the two points, the abstract property in its expression is not interesting, only part of it as the distance between.


Technically, an abstract definition is the result of calculating the difference in the expression of an abstract property between a subject (a living being) and an object (an irritant). One of the points (incoming) is the beginning of the countdown, the second (outgoing) is the end. The distance between points in the space of abstract values becomes a parameter. Since the beginning of the reference cannot coincide with its completion (the zero length of the line segment, which means its absence), the point at the beginning of the reference never has its own parameters. But the parameter, like the distance between points, always has the opposite point. For distilled psychology, the incoming and zero point will not have its own expression of an abstract property (a living being is not beautiful for itself, not tasty for itself, does not pose a threat to itself, etc., except for the social dimension as an exceptional case). The result of the calculation can be called from memory in the form of a finished quantity according to the rules of the conversion of quantities (i.e. it is not calculated). In other cases, it is calculated as a derivative of the actual definition according to the rules of the conversion of quantities.


This is a geometric model of psychology. A living being has some parameter (the coordinate of point A or length OA) relative to absolute zero in real and abstract space. And is the origin of coordinates in both spaces relative to point B. The coordinate (x) is the actual definition of the position of the irritant (the quantity of the actual property), the coordinate (y) is the abstract definition of the position of the irritant (the quantity of the abstract property). For example, the distance AB on the line of the actual definition (measurement) is the temperature difference (actual definition), which is converted into the distance AB on the line of the abstract definition (calculation) is the difference of beauty (abstract definition). Now everything, that is warmer, than a living being, will be perceived by him as beautiful, and not as warm. Accordingly, the quantity of beauty (y) will be calculated as a derivative of the quantity of heat (x) as a function of y = x * k' / k" or any other, where k' and k" are constant or variable coefficients. If we don't know, which function it is, then we can just put a sign of accordance x >> y


Now we can go back to the physical meaning and its imitation. A physically abstract definition is a derivative of the selected part of a physical property and its expression. The method of isolating a part of a physical property remains the same by cutting off the expression, that is beyond the two points. But then the difference in physical parameters is translated into the difference in abstract parameters (the quantity of beauty, danger, yummy, etc.). Accordingly, if for a real space of values, the position of one of the two ends of a straight line segment (the coordinate of the irritant) is defined through a control and measuring device (sensory organ), then for an abstract space of values the position of one of the two ends of a straight line segment (the coordinate of the irritant) is defined through computing power (brain, microcircuit, etc.) and the function (x >> y). There is no physically abstract definition, but there is a valid definition, from which the abstract definition is derived. To form an abstract definition, both points must lie on the line of the actual and abstract definition, the position of the defining point on the line of the actual and abstract definition must also correspond to (A (real) >> A (abstract)).


The presence of its own position on a straight line for a point is a prerequisite for the subsequent transformation of the point into a subject. If a point has the ability to define, then this does not make it a subject. The thermometer, that measures the temperature, does not yet lie on the temperature line, because it does not have a temperature itself. It is defined by the temperature difference between the object and the absence of temperature (zero as the absence of expression), and not by the relative self, taken as zero. The thermometer will become a subject, when it begins to define the temperature difference between its own temperature and the temperature of the measured object. That is, how much warmer or colder the external object is. Similarly, for abstract definitions, a point must have both the abstract property itself (lie on the corresponding straight line) and some value of the abstract property (even if taken as zero as the origin). The question will become different, how much tastier (more attractive, more interesting, more harmless, etc.) or more disgusting (more terrible, more dangerous, etc.) the external object of the subject. The essence remains the same, it is a comparison with its own meaning. If the values do not match, then the points form a difference of values — a straight line segment, that has a length. For which the subject must himself possess the corresponding abstract properties — to be tasty, attractive, disgusting, dangerous, etc. When a living being sees an irritant, it does not define, how dangerous the irritant is, but defines, how dangerous it is relative to the living being itself. The higher the difference in values between the danger of the irritant and the living being itself, the more dangerous it is in general. A living being is not dangerous to itself, because it is impossible to form a straight line segment from one point, need a second end of the segment. Therefore, a living being is one end of a straight line segment, that is not defined and is taken as zero, and an irritant is the second end of a segment whose position is defined relative to the first (the living being itself) through the senses (control and measuring devices). Next, the coordinate of the irritant on the real line is projected onto the abstract line according to the established function.


The abstract definition begins at point A, which is the intersection point of two straight lines. But this point reflects some physical property, which objectively may not be equal to zero. According to the rules for converting quantities, point B can be reflected to the left or right of point A. And it can be reflected on different lines.


A living being may have some physical property, the value of which is objectively not equal to zero. Accordingly, the irritant can be on the left or on the right, this is the expression of the physical property more or less, than the severity of the physical property of a living being. If this expression is taken as the origin of coordinates for an abstract definition, then there is a space behind the back already in abstract values. In other words, the position of the irritant should be reflected to the left or right of point A on an abstract straight line. But no, we don't see anything like that. If point B on a real straight line lies on the left, then it is reflected on one straight line (or not reflected at all), and if on the right, then on another straight line (or not reflected at all). Therefore, disgust is not attraction, only in the other direction, it is a completely different line. And it is precisely because of this feature that the effect is obtained, that the abstract definition always lies in the domain of positive numbers. Because the difference in physical values is really reflected only in a positive way. Therefore, any abstract definition starts from point A, there is simply nothing behind back (we even can not draw a continuation behind back, but it is in the drawing for objectivity). If so, then for each abstract definition there is its own line, which has its own name. Where then does the pairing (disgust — admiration, for example) come from? It is taken from the properties of the physical world, where a living being may have some expression of a physical property, so  there are physical values, that are greater or less, than the value of a living being.




An abstract definition is a definition in an abstract one-dimensional space according to the rules of analytic geometry. The definition is a straight line segment AB in a one-dimensional abstract space, where the defining point (a living being) is an incoming point and is located at the zero coordinate. To form a segment, both points must lie on such a straight line (have the same abstract property or be located at an abstract distance). The simplest abstract definition would be true. There is another point (irritant), through which can form a straight line, and from which can form a segment on such a straight line.


An abstract definition is the quantity of an abstract property, the value of which is indicated by the segment AB. To form a definition, a living being must have some value of an abstract property (even if it does not actually correspond to zero). The simplest definition is a statement, that it is true, that an irritant is dangerous, beautiful, delicious, etc., in a complex case it is a definition of the magnitude of how dangerous, beautiful, delicious, etc. relative to the value of a living being, which is thought of as the origin of coordinates.


In theory, the quantity of an abstract property is the distance AB between two points. If we translate this into coordinates, it turns out, that both points have the same coordinate (x) relative to each other. It may not seem quite right to us (including because there are no coordinates at all in distilled psychology), but some quantity can be denoted by a straight line segment, not a number. In order to reflect the value with a familiar digit, we must introduce a one-dimensional space, i.e. declare one of the points as the origin of coordinates.


Now the abstract definition is the quantity of an abstract property, the value of which is equal to the length of the line segment AB or the coordinate (x). This is a certain quantity of danger, beauty, ugliness, yummy, tasteless, attractive, intelligence, money, poverty, etc., which is a definable sign.


Distilled psychology operates with quantities (lengths of segments), the value of which is the value of a command (instruction, signal). We are not alone in the universe, our culture of analytical geometry is not universal, and in psychology both points have the same coordinate (x) relative to each other, because the coordinate (x) is equal to the length of the segment AB, which has the same length when measured from either end. I.e., in distilled psychology, the points do not have familiar to us coordinates (x) and numerical series. The magnitude of the command is a certain imbalance (asymmetry, difference), and distilled psychology is completely indifferent, to who exactly this difference belongs to. The only important thing is the fact of disequilibrium (asymmetry, differences), which is a definable feature, and its quantity, which is defined without the usual numbers. Staying in the mainstream of distilled psychology, we can say, that there is some difference in quantities between two points (a living being and an irritant) — beauty, ugliness, danger, yummy, rotten, wealth, poverty, intelligence, stupidity, etc. But we cannot say, who exactly owns this difference in quantities, who exactly is more beautiful, uglier, more dangerous, tastier, more poisonous, richer, poorer, smarter, stupider, etc. This is not necessary and not important in distilled psychology, only the fact of disequilibrium (asymmetry, differences, logical is true) and the quantity of disequilibrium (asymmetry, differences, segment AB), which will then become the magnitude of the command (instruction, signal). But we cannot say about the quantity in our usual numerical definition, how much more beautiful, uglier, more dangerous, tastier, more poisonous, richer, poorer, smarter, stupider, etc. This sad fact forces us to bring psychology into a more understandable form for a person — to enter the origin and set the direction, i.e. to enter a one-dimensional space in order to translate a straight line segment into the length of a straight line segment (i.e. into a digit). The directivity is set only by a sequence, the coordinate of the incoming point is always less (its coordinate is zero), than the outgoing one. This is necessary solely for measuring in the usual way through numbers. This method requires the origin of the coordinates, relative to which the measurement is performed (and relative to which is greater or less). An abstract straight line can be directed in any direction, but it is usually customary to set the direction from left to right. Somewhere to the left of point A there should be negative coordinates, but in psychology they are cut off as the space behind the back. The measured or calculated property always has a positive value greater than zero (greater than me, where my position is always the origin). This is valid for any abstract definitions. How beautiful a person is (coordinate (x)) relative to my beauty (which is zero), how ugly a person is (coordinate (x)) relative to my ugliness (which is zero), how tasty or dangerous he is (coordinate (x)) relative to my value of yummy or dangerous (which are zero), etc. After analytical geometry with one-dimensional spaces begins. The origin of coordinates is always an internal abstract parameter of a living being, which is always zero. In psychology, the directions of a straight line and an abstract definition always coincide, so an abstract straight line always reflects the area of positive numbers. This means, that an irritant is always tastier, than a living being, or always more disgusting, or always more beautiful, or always uglier, or always richer, or always poorer, or something else by a certain magnitude, which is always positive. However, if we are talking about imitation of physical reality, then the real line always lies in the area of positive numbers (there is no quantity of heat, density, motion, etc. less, than absolute zero, it is physically impossible, so there is no temperature, hardness, velocity, etc. less, than absolute zero). But the abstract line always lies in the domain of positive numbers in the literal sense. Even if a living being defines the quantity of ugliness, how tasteless the irritant is, etc. (negative qualities), this is done in one direction and away from himself. They are negative not because they are less than zero, but because they repel (set the movement from the stimulus). We can always tell, who exactly is bigger and by how much — any abstract value of an irritant is always greater, than any abstract value of a living being, and any abstract value of a living being is always zero. Actually, the definition of a point (the magnitude of an irritant) in an abstract space is the definition of how much bigger (how much more beautiful, uglier, more dangerous, tastier, more poisonous, richer, poorer, smarter, stupider, etc.), than I am (a living being).


The abstract line is virtual, it does not exist physically and reflects signs, that do not exist in nature, so it can be directed from anywhere and anywhere. In any case, it will reflect the difference of abstract values as a positive number (x) equal to the length of the line segment AB. There is no continuation of the straight line in the figure, on which negative coordinates will appear, because psychology does not operate with negative numbers less than zero (the values of a living being), this is the space behind the observer, who stands at point A and looks at point B. There is an effect, that a straight line has a beginning (which is wrong from the point of view of geometry, but we can say, that a ray comes from point A) and is directed to both (and only two) sides from point A (which is also wrong, but we can say, that one straight line is a reflection of the other). This brings us back to the effect, that two rays diverge from the point in different directions, i.e. as if we put a mirror at point A.


If we draw a straight line, then an abstract straight line can have any direction relative to this line. In psychology, negative signs do not have the meaning of negative numbers (coordinates), because an abstract definition cannot have negative coordinates, they only have the meaning of repulsion (negative factor). This means, that the quantity of ugliness (or any other negative sign) can be defined both from left to right and from right to left, and it always has a positive value (how ugly or any other negative sign). Similarly, the magnitude of beauty (or any other positive sign) can be defined both from left to right and from right to left, and it also always has a positive value (how beautiful or any other positive sign). In other words, everything, that is beautiful (ugly, dangerous, delicious, poisonous, rich, poor, smart, stupid, etc.) can be directed both to the left and to the right, because the abstract line is virtual, such factors do not exist in physical reality, they are artificial. Moreover, the abstract definition can be duplicated in both directions (both to the left and to the right), if the developer needs it. In this case, the origin of coordinates will also remain a living being, and positive values will be defined in both directions (the magnitude of deviation, disequilibrium, differences, asymmetries, differences, can use any other synonym) having the same meaning of positive or negative factors. But this only works with respect to the drawn line, but not for the most direct abstract property. These will be two straight lines, that reflect the same abstract property, but in both directions. We cannot say, that if point B is more beautiful, than point A by a certain quantity (coordinate (x)), then point A is uglier, than point B by the same quantity, one does not follow from the other. We can say, that if point B is more beautiful relative to point A by some quantity (coordinate (x)), then point A is less beautiful relative to point B by some quantity (coordinate (x)), but not ugly. In psychology, each line has its own unique name, and each abstract property is defined separately. Therefore, if point B is uglier relative to point A by some quantity (coordinate (x)), then point A is less ugly relative to point B by some quantity (coordinate (x)), but not beautiful. In other words, point B can be both prettier and uglier, and for each difference there will be a separate straight line (which can be directed anywhere) and a separate value of such a difference. Such a phenomenon does not occur in reality only thanks to the skill of developers, since each definition implies a positive or negative factor. If the irritant carries both factors at the same time, then a living being will receive two commands, that are opposite in meaning, and will not do anything (hang).


A real straight line can also be directed anywhere, but it is usually customary to direct it from left to right, a virtual straight line relative to it can be directed anywhere, and the directions can be opposite.


Then something went wrong with the developers of all living things, and vulgar practice broke in again. Namely, without association with a real line, the virtual line remains virtual. We need a physical shell, that will enable a living being not to lose touch with reality, completely immersed in the world of virtual meanings. But we remember from the last chapter some features of analytical geometry and physical reality, that are not completely compatible with each other, so special efforts are needed. A living being perceives its internal value as the origin of coordinates, but objectively the internal value of a living being can be greater, than absolute zero, which is why there is a space behind the back. Therefore, measurements appear in one direction or the other, because a living being cannot define both directions at once (although measurements can be carried out in both directions, but we are talking about definition according to the rules of analytical geometry).


The body has a certain quantity of the property OA, we do not know, what it is (how much of it, the coordinate), because coordinates are the ability of intelligent beings (not only humans, but also developers of all living things). In psychology, it does not matter, the value of the deviation AB to the left or to the right is important, which corresponds to a certain quantity of physical property by the value (x). Next, the quantity is converted to the value (value (y)). According to the rules of analytical geometry, the body has a zero value of the selected property, but objectively this value is equal to the length of the segment OA (or coordinate (r)). It is a matter solely of choosing, what exactly to consider the origin of coordinates.


This is an example of a real reflection, where the coordinate (r) corresponds to the origin, the coordinate (x) corresponds to the coordinate (y). Since the position of a living being implies a certain quantity of physical property A(r) relative to absolute zero O, the definition in the space of real values is the definition of the deviation in (x) from some given quantity of physical property A(r), which is taken as the origin, through transformation (in geometry this is called projection) coordinates B(x) on one straight line to coordinate B(y) on the associated straight line. In this case, any irritant on the left (x < r) is reflected on one straight line, this is the space of values, that are smaller, than the value of a living being. For example, it is anything that is colder, softer, etc., than a living being. Any irritant on the right (x > r) is reflected on another line, this is a space of values, that are greater, than the value of a living being. For example, it is anything, that is hotter, harder, etc., than a living being. Since we are dealing with artificial programming of the behavior of a living being, no one prevents us from reflecting everything the other way around. Or leave the definition only one way. But using the example of real reflections, we see, that the space of values coincides with physical reality. It's a combination of design and pragmatism. On the one hand, we have to reckon with physical reality (the expression of the property is always directed), on the other hand, we have to reckon with analytical geometry, which cuts off everything, that is behind our backs. This does not mean, that the control and measuring device is not able to measure in both directions, but it means, that it is able to define only in one direction. Therefore, the space of values is reflected in both directions from the position of a living being. Therefore, the actual values are always paired. Hot (definition in one direction) and cold (definition in the other direction), harder than me and softer than me, etc., respectively, the irritant can take only one of two values, hot or cold, hard or soft, etc., or-or. But space is thought of as one (for example, temperature space, density space, etc.), it is simply divided into two scales, greater or less than zero (my value (r)). The actual definition (coordinate (y)) is always greater than zero in either direction. But the spaces themselves correspond to the physical meaning, so the magnitude of B(y) on the left seems smaller, than the magnitude of B(y) on the right. Exactly as in reality, where the physical expression is directed from zero to infinity, so the expression on the left is always less, than the expression on the right. If combine the two spaces, get a mirror effect.


This is a ruler, that measures in both directions, distilled analytical geometry. There is some value (r), which is not interesting to anyone in psychology, and there is some deviation (x) from (r), which is converted into a value (y). In any direction, such a value is greater, than zero, it differs only by name (harder or softer, faster or slower, etc.), each of which has a sign (positive or negative factor).


The actual definition is also an abstraction, it does not exist physically. There are no temperatures in nature, there is a quantity of heat, there is no speed, momentum, etc., there is a quantity of movement, there is no color scheme, there is a wavelength, etc. But this abstraction reflects some physical property, that is material, it exists. Therefore, the actual definition corresponds to physical reality. And what physical property does beauty reflect? Yes, we can say, that beauty is the proportionality of forms, harmony, symmetry, etc. And yummy? And there is no answer here, it's just yummy. But then the abstract property will hang in the air, it is impossible to define it physically, since it does not correspond to something physical, therefore it must be nailed to the material world, and it is nailed to the physical property and its expression. If a space appears behind the back with a real reflection, then the abstract definition has it by default. So much so, that any abstract straight line starts immediately from a living being. There is no sense in the space behind the back, because an abstract property cannot be less than zero (the value of a living being). But the initial position (origin) in the space of abstract values is also reflected, based on the position of the origin in the space of real values. And we remember, that such a position in the space of real values may not be equal to absolute zero.


What has changed is that we are now converting physical phenomena into abstract values.

There is only one difference here, now a living being will perceive a physical phenomenon not as temperature, hardness, etc., a reflection of real physical properties, but as beauty, danger, etc., which are the invention of the developer. Accordingly, if, in actual reflection, a living being had a certain quantity of phenomenon A(r), relative to which the world was harder or softer, warmer or colder, etc., more or less coordinate (r), which somehow correlated with physical reality, then now this world has become virtual. Now a living being has a certain quantity of phenomenon A(r), relative to which the world is beautiful or ugly, tasty or disgusting, etc. But this is only at first glance. Abstract definitions get rid of their physical meaning, these are signals, that are not possible in nature by themselves, so the most bizarre combinations are possible here. The irritant on the left (x < r) can be reflected to any line (but only one), and the value of B(y) can reflect anything. Similarly for the irritant on the right (x > r). Abstract definitions may have a pair (beauty and its opposite in the other direction), or may not (danger has no opposite, and it can be defined in both directions). An abstract definition can be directed only in one direction, or can be in both. Pairing can relate to one physical phenomenon, or can relate to two different ones. And the pairing itself can be different, when the magnitude of danger is defined in one direction, and the magnitude of beauty in the other. But behind this confusion hides the essence of analytical geometry (as well as its component parts in the form of descriptive geometry) and the general idea of the developer, where everything is subordinated to the achievement of the goal. The valid and abstract reflection of physical reality is a reflection of physical reality, its projection. The physical property has an expression, that is always directed in one direction from zero to infinity. The valid and abstract reflection of such reality are similar to each other by the method, when reflecting, the same principles of analytical geometry and conversion of quantities are used (the rules of reflection (projection in human culture), this is descriptive geometry in psychology). Therefore, a living being always has a certain quantity of physical property (even if equal to absolute zero), the relative of which is compared with the quantity of physical property of the irritant, where the difference of such quantities is an incoming signal (command, instruction). These are the rules of management, which we call psychology. Therefore, we can say, that any real and abstract reflections are a difference of values, and any space for such a reflection is a space of values. In other words, there is no fundamental difference between real and abstract meaning, if look at them as a whole. But there is a key difference in the particulars. The actual reflection is used to reflect exactly the physical reality. Two different purposes of the same reception lead to a difference in the application of the reflection method. Actual reflections are closest to physical reality, because they should reflect physical reality most fully. Abstract reflection is used to reflect physical reality as it is not. This is a distortion of reality, the creation of a virtual world. But the virtual world is abstract, it does not exist, so it is tied to physical reality as its derivative. Abstract reflections are only consistent with physical reality, but they should not reflect it, because this will destroy virtual reality, and hence the artificial organization that abstract definitions are used to create. These are additional signals for controlling a living being not only as a material object (machine), but as a part of the organization as a whole. An abstract definition is thought of as an abstract distance or difference of values, it is not a reflection of reality. This is either a distortion of reality, or something, that is not connected with reality at all. Therefore, abstract definitions cannot be removed by a control and measuring device, they do not exist physically for this. They can only be specified (prescribed), just as an abstract straight line, which is formed through two abstract points, will be specified (prescribed). The prescription is made through a function, where one variable is the incoming definition (not necessarily valid from the control and measuring device), the other variable is the outgoing definition (abstract definition). Thus, an abstract definition is the definition of the coordinate of another point through assignment in accordance with a given function and the magnitude of the incoming definition (several definitions). This gives rise to two interesting features, that we can observe in living beings. First, if an abstract line (abstract property) is set initially at the design stage of a living being (although it is more correct at the design stage of the organization of living beings), if it imitates a physical property, then it should even correspond to a physical property by design. I.e., have a direction from zero expression to infinity, where zero expression of a physical property corresponds to zero expression abstract properties, and the physical expression of the subject and object correspond to abstract expression.


This is an example, it's just for clarity. Suppose, that the coordinate (r) corresponds to some physical phenomenon, for example, the number of spots. The coordinate of point O tells us, that the number of spots is zero, the space of spots is directed to infinity. A living being does not know, how many spots he has, it is not important in psychology. It is important, that the number of spots is not zero, and there is also an individual nearby, who has more or less spots, than a living being. Suppose, we transform the difference in the number of spots (x) into some abstract phenomenon with a magnitude (y).


We remember, that the definition works as a diode in one direction only. If we transform a physical phenomenon into an abstract one, then we must specify a name and a sign, because just the difference of spots will not tell anyone anything, it is not yet an incoming signal. Suppose, that if the difference in the number of spots is greater, then it is delicious (victim), but if less, then it is deadly (predator). Need to run away from the predator, need to catch up with the victim. The number of spots is a physical phenomenon, so it can be measured (calculated), but it is not some force, so need to set an additional abstract value, more or less spots, what does it mean? We did so, getting a living creature, that has the instinct to run from fewer spots to more. But our living being itself has a certain number of spots, the number of which does not form an instinct, because it is impossible to create a straight line segment from one point. What happens if there are several such living creatures, and each will have a different number of spots?


A1, A2 and A3 are living creatures, that have different numbers of spots. Each living being considers its own number of spots to be the origin of coordinates, therefore, relative to each living being, there may be other living beings, who have more or less spots. If there are more spots, then it is something very tasty, if less, then it is something very dangerous.


We could look with envy at a living creature, that has no spots at all, because it is the most dangerous (and most tasteless), the top link in the food chain. But a living being with an infinite number of spots evokes sympathy, frightened, downtrodden, which everyone wants to eat. But that's not, what we're interested in. Every living being has a certain number of spots, but according to the rules of analytical geometry, this number should be considered equal to zero. Therefore, a living being will subjectively assume, that he has no spots at all, there are other living beings, and there may be more or less of them. But how can there be more or less of them, if a living being does not have them? They are more or less than zero, which is subjective. But objectively for an external observer (other living beings), a living being will have a certain number of spots other than zero (the number of spots of an external observer). And if we look at it as a whole, then not only the quantity of tasty or dangerous will stretch into a line, but also the living beings themselves will represent a certain sequence, where one living being tastes better, than another in one direction, and one being is more dangerous, than another in the other direction. The quantity of yummy or danger will correspond to the difference in the number of spots. This is an example, that does not exist in nature, it's just an example. We can continue it. Let's assume, that each spot is a mold spot. Bacteria tend to get started on food, and their colonies have the appearance of white spots. Suppose, that a living being also has a certain number of mold spots, but subjectively a living being believes, that he does not have such spots (in psychology, only the difference in the values of the number of spots makes sense, in our case, the difference in the amount of mold). Let's assume, that if there are fewer spots, than a living being, then it's beautiful, and if more, then it's delicious. And let's assume, that there was no mold in the initial conditions. But now bacteria are on the food, what will happen next?


A living being possesses a certain quantity of OA mold. The irritant is at point O, there is no mold on it yet. But the bacteria begin to multiply, the irritant began to move in a straight line from left to right.


Let's look at the world through the eyes of such a living being. At the initial conditions, the food will seem very beautiful to a living being, but not tasty. The quantity of beauty will correspond to the difference in values between the quantity of mold in a living being and the complete absence of mold. I.e., the less mold relative to a living being, the more beautiful. Bacteria multiply, so the irritant will be less and less beautiful. It will not cause disgust, even when the difference in the values of the quantity of mold becomes minimal, but interest will become minimal, because beauty is minimal. And when the quantity of mold becomes equal to the quantity of mold in a living being, then such an irritant will cease to be beautiful at all. But the bacteria continue to multiply, there are more and more of them. And the reaction to the irritant will be a feeling of hunger, at first small, but with the increase in the quantity of mold, the irritant will seem tastier and tastier. And he will no longer seem beautiful, do not need to admire him and get aesthetic pleasure, need to eat as soon as possible to satisfy hunger. It's funny, because there is no such insanity in nature (although it can be created, if we want to have the behavior of a living being, that includes a standby mode (do not go anywhere) until the food is rotten to the desired level). But this reveals to us another feature – the presence of an internal parameter, that is objective, some eigenvalue of a point (a living being).


Any external sign, through which the definition occurs, is necessary for an external observer. Two observers define the difference in values, greater or less, than my internal parameter. But food does not have sense organs, it does not need it, it does not need interaction, so a living being does not necessarily have to be covered with mold the size of OA. But in this case, how does a living being define the difference in values? And at this point there is a fork. In distilled psychology, any difference in values is defined through a difference in potentials. For example, if need to define the quantity of mold, then a living being will see in the spectrum in which the mold emits, and it will define the difference in values not even by the quantity of radiation, but by the irritation, that radiation exerts on the senses. The eigenvalue here is set initially and by default as a certain radiation norm. Similarly, with lighting, where there is also a norm, and any deviation from the norm (darker or lighter) causes irritation, chemical reactions, etc., which also has a magnitude. Similarly, with the sense of smell, hearing, etc. Therefore, for an abstract definition, there is also a physical norm of OA, the deviation from which is defined physically, and then abstractly. This means, that a living being does not count the number of spots, but a certain number of spots is equivalent to a wave at rest, but more or less spots are irritation of the retina of the eye. In other words, the irritant sets the irritation not by spots, but by their wavelength, radiation intensity, etc., physical properties. This, by the way, requires a high technical culture from the developer (and does not require the presence of a numerical series, which does not exist in nature). But this is if the eigenvalue is needed as a signal for another living being. And if don't need to? Then the living being will not be covered with mold, it makes no sense. It will define the difference in values as described above (physically as the difference in radiation). But there is another option, when the technical culture is completely different. And we put in memory a certain value, that should be considered the norm. In this case, the living being will compare the value of the irritant not with its quantity of mold (there is none), and not by default through physical interaction (the senses do not give such an opportunity), but simply through a comparison between how it should be (norm, state of rest), and what it really is. Even in complex living beings, we do not see anything like this, because all the senses are made according to the rules of analytical geometry and define the quantity of irritation through the quantity of nervous irritation of the tissue. But if a living being has some meaning of its own, with respect to which the comparison takes place, then no one prevents us from taking the next step so, that the living being compares itself with this value. How much a living being is covered with mold, thick, beautiful or ugly, etc. relative to the value, that should be (and which should be considered the origin of coordinates). Which leads us to the social dimension, where the number of spots (and anything else) is defined not relative to the number of spots of a living being, but relative to some abstract norm, the value of which is recorded in the memory of a living being. We remember, that there can be many living beings. What happens, if every living being thinks, that his condition is close to ideal, but they are in different positions on the scale of physical properties, that reflect the dimensions of the body. We are very familiar with this. I'm fine, but you're kind of skinny. Am I thin? I'm fine, you're the fat cow. This is already social, not psychological, but sometimes it is difficult to understand, where the psychological ends and the social begins. And in this dimension, everyone compares himself and others with an internal parameter. This is the difference in values between what the irritant should be and what it is. Since the internal parameters do not match, then the results of the definitions are different.
