This commentary is about consciousness.

Each iteration of consciousness consists of several consecutive operations.
1. Definition of the magnitude of irritation (x).
x = dx – ds
The equation contains two unknowns. The first unknown (dx) is determined through the sensory organ (control and measuring device), this is the absolute magnitude of the irritant in the current iteration of consciousness. The second unknown (x) is calculated, it is the quantity of irritation or the relative magnitude of the irritant in the current iteration of consciousness. The value (ds) is a pre-known internal parameter, that is set during design, this is the rest value in the definition. If the magnitude of the irritation is not defined (there is no irritant (dx)), and the actual condition is greater or less, than the resting norm ((wn > ws), (wn < ws)), then the magnitude of the actual excitation is used as the magnitude of the irritation.
x = wn – ws
The equation contains one unknown (x), which is calculated. The magnitude of the current condition (wn) is known in advance, it is inherited from the previous iteration of consciousness and defined at the beginning of the new iteration of consciousness. The value (ws) is a pre-known internal parameter, that is set during design, this is the norm of the condition in the absence of irritation.
2. Conversion of the irritation value (x) to the response value (y) according to the quantity conversion rules.
y = f (x) * ly / lx
The equation contains one unknown (y), which is calculated. This is the relative magnitude of the reaction to irritation. The function (f (x)), magnitude (ly), and magnitude (lx) are pre-known internal parameters, that are set during design. This is a function of converting the magnitude of irritation into the magnitude of the reaction to irritation and the dimensions of the incoming and outgoing spaces.
3. Calculation of the reaction value.
If ((dx > ds) >> (wy > ws)) or ((dx < ds) >> (wy > ws)), then …
wy = ws + y
If ((dx > ds) >> (wy < ws)) or ((dx < ds) >> (wy < ws)), then …
wy = ws – y
The equation contains one unknown (wy), which is calculated. This is the absolute magnitude of the reaction to irritation. The relative magnitude of the reaction to irritation (y) is calculated in the previous operation. The value (ws) is a pre-known internal parameter, that is set during design, this is the norm of the condition in the absence of irritation. Since the value (dx) can be greater or less, than the value (ds), since the value (wy) can be greater or less, than the value (ws), the arithmetic operation (add or subtract the value (y)) is set during design.
4. Calculation of the magnitude of psychological work.
dAw = wy – wn
The equation contains one unknown (dAw), which is calculated. This is the quantity of psychological work, set by the irritant. The absolute magnitude of the irritation response (wy) is calculated in the previous operation. The magnitude of the current condition (wn) is known in advance, it is inherited from the previous iteration of consciousness and defined at the beginning of the new iteration of consciousness.
5. Calculation of the irritation residue.
QI = dAw / e
The equation contains one unknown (QI), which is calculated. This is the remainder of the irritation in this iteration of consciousness. The quantity of psychological work (dAw) is calculated in the previous operation. The excitability value (e) is a pre-known internal parameter, that is set during design. Except, when this value is derived from irritation.
6. If the residue of the irritation is less, than the minimum portion of irritation (QI < QImin), then this iteration should be considered completed and start all over again with the first definition operation. The iteration ends with the operator (wn) retaining the value it had from the beginning of the iteration (wn = wn). That is, to leave the current condition as it is. The quantity of irritation residue (QI) is calculated in the previous operation. The minimum portion of irritation (QImin) is a pre-known internal parameter, that is set during design. If the irritation residue is greater, than the minimum portion of irritation (QI > QImin), then …
7. Calculation of the excitation portion.
QE = dAw / r
The equation contains one unknown (QE), which is calculated. The quantity of psychological work (dAw) is calculated in the previous operation. The resistance value (r) is a pre-known internal parameter, that is set during design. Excitability (e) and resistance (r) are interrelated, therefore it is enough to know only one value, the second can be calculated. (1 / r + 1 / e = 1).
8. Shift of the current condition.
wn (с) = wn + QE
The equation contains one unknown (wn (с)), which is calculated. The value (wn (c)) is the new condition, which it should be instead of the current (wn). The magnitude of the excitation (QE) is calculated in the previous operation. The magnitude of the current condition (wn) is known in advance, it is inherited from the previous iteration of consciousness and defined at the beginning of the new iteration of consciousness.
9. Installation of a new condition as current
wn = wn (c)
When the new condition becomes actual (excitation was conducted), the operator (wn) must assign itself a new value (wn (c)), the magnitude of which was calculated in this iteration of consciousness. This is the end of iteration of consciousness, and everything starts again with the value of current condition (wn), but this is another value, to which has been added or subtracted a portion of excitation. This continues until the magnitude of the actual condition becomes approximately equal to the magnitude of the reaction to irritation (wn = wy +/– QImin) in the presence of an irritant or the magnitude of the resting condition (wn = ws +/– QImin) in the absence of an irritant. These equalities are a logical condition for exiting the condition change cycle, returning the creature to an "empty" cycle without a condition change (wn = wn) until the next irritation. Each iteration of consciousness lasts some quantity of time (lc), during which sequentially are performed operations. Since iterations are regular, and each iteration begins with a definition, consciousness is a regular invocation of a definition with some frequency (lc). With or without a shift of position (wn).
